Produces delicious and healthy dark red/black fruit that appear similar to boysenberries. Generally fruits in it's second year.
Grows 6 x 6 m
Full sun. Prefers free-draining rich in organic matter.
Self-fertile. Yields will be improved if you plant another mulberry tree nearby.
Dig a hole twice the size of the pot. Backfill, mixing in compost and then plant into the loosened soil.
Feed regularly and water regularly through summer.
Prune in winter when dormant. Prune to retain shape or to reduce height. Removing tips will encourage the tree to grow more fruiting spurs.
